In our teaching of music, orchestra or choir, the four pillars of our pedagogic methods fall harmoniously into place: body expression, human relationship, intelligence and spirituality of the child are implicated. Man is elevated by the beauty of music. By learning to appreciate and to play music children develop their sense of beauty and harmony and their ability to work together. They also discover that through hard work they are capable of producing a repertoire that is agreable and appreciated.
All pupils participate once a week in school choir practice for a 50-minute session under the direction of a choir master. A weekly music theory lesson is given by a professional teacher who also conducts the orchestra composed of pupils that play a musical instrument.
